Green Mountain Family Campground is situated in Bristol, Vermont. This campsite is a family-friendly campground and provides RV and tent camping. There's also a game area and a newly renovated bathroom. You will find a pool and laundry room.

The campground offers picnic tables and fire ring facilities. You can also find a playground on the site. Other amenities include pop-up camping and pop-up tents. Some campsites offer full hookups, while others only have electricity. Some sites are reinforced with gravel. Some sites are more luxurious and include hot water, hot showers, and bathrooms.

There are many activities in the vicinity, including hiking and swimming at Green Mountain Reservoir. Bartlett Falls, a popular swimming hole, is also a great choice. This scenic spot is only a short drive away from the campground.

The best thing about the GMFC campground is its family-friendly nature. The day use fee is $4, which includes access to the pool and the nearby picnic areas. However, it's a bit of a hike from the campsite to the nearest trailhead.

The GMFC can also be reached easily from the Middleblury Municipal Forest. It is important to note that the campground has restrictions for pets.

The GMFC also hosts an RV park. This is located in the main campground. The GMFC is open to equestrian clubs, so there are some horseback riding opportunities in the area. If you want a more serene and peaceful vacation, you may want to consider a different camp.

In addition to the GMFC, you should look into Cedar Hill Campground. This campground has developed campsites in the north and south camping areas. Holiday Inn Express is also an option. Although there is a small play ground at the hotel, internet access is not always reliable.
