The vast majority of camping areas in Western Australia are free. Campgrounds have water hookups. Showers are available. Many activities can be offered, including swimming, fishing and hiking. No matter if you are an experienced camper or just looking for a relaxing getaway you will find it.

Betty's Beach has been voted the best free camping spot in South West WA. It is located at 50 km east Albany and boasts spectacular views. It's also great for surfing. It is the perfect spot to take your family on a picnic and enjoy some time with them. This isn't the best spot for camper vans and big rigs. For smaller tents and caravans, it is recommended. Although it isn't a very well-developed campground you will still find basic amenities.

Parry Beach is another good free camping spot. This beach is large and has tall green myrtle trees. It also offers beach boat launching. This is also a place where you can watch the local stingrays and other marine life. It is a great stopover location between Port Headland and Broome.

Marble Bar Waterhole is a historic waterhole that is located about half an hour from Marble Bar. It is located in the shadow of cliffs, and it is a great place to take a break and enjoy the beauty of the area. The site is completely free and the water is clean.

The Bibbulmun Path is a popular walk that follows a five-kilometer stretch along the beach. The trails are not difficult but can be challenging for those who aren't so strong. It's a great spot to see the natural landscapes of Southwest Australia. This area is rich in wildlife and picturesque landscapes. It is about 25 minutes from Margaret River.

The Charles and Mary Eder Unit is a wildlife area located near Oroville. It is a popular wintering area for white-tailed elk. It is free to camp and has a reader board at the entrance. There are toilets and picnic tables at the campground, as well as access to a swimming hole. The road to the campground is paved all year.

Betty's Beach Free Campground allows you to pitch tents. The views are stunning, even though there are very few amenities. If you are traveling in a larger vehicle, you might want to consider a more developed camper park.

The Gorge Lake Campground is a great place to stay for those who love to fish. It is located close to Ross Lake and Diablo Lake. It includes a boat launch as well as tent pads and fire rings. It can also found in the North Cascades. It's a quiet, rustic, but free camp.

You will find many more campsites for free in the Pacific Northwest. For details on these campsites, and others throughout the region, see the Western Australia Camping Guide. The guide contains maps, directions, and descriptions of 120 sites in the area. It includes information on rest stops and pet-friendly sites as well as minimal fee campsites.
