Western Australia offers many places to camp for free. There are campgrounds that have water hookups, showers, and restrooms, and they offer various activities like fishing, swimming, and hiking. It doesn't matter if your goal is to be a seasoned camper, or simply to relax, there are many campgrounds that can accommodate you.

Betty's Beach, one of the most sought-after free camping spots in South West WA. It's located 50km east of Albany, and boasts stunning views. It's also great for surfing. It's a great place for the whole family to enjoy time together. This isn't the best spot for camper vans and big rigs. It is ideal for small caravans or tents. You will not find many amenities, but it is a basic campground.

Parry Beach is another excellent spot for free camping. This beach is large and has tall green myrtle trees. It also offers beach boat launching. You can also see the local stingrays, and other marine life from this spot. It is a great stopover location between Port Headland and Broome.

Marble Bar Waterhole is a historic waterhole that is located about half an hour from Marble Bar. It's located in the shadows cliffs. The waterhole is great for taking a break and enjoying the beauty of this area. The site is completely free and the water is clean.

The Bibbulmun Path is a popular walk that follows a five-kilometer stretch along the beach. Although the trails aren't difficult, they can be strenuous for the faint-hearted. It's a great spot to see the natural landscapes of Southwest Australia. This area is full of wildlife and stunning landscapes. It is approximately 25 minutes away from Margaret River.

The Charles and Mary Eder Unit wildlife area is located near Oroville. It is a popular wintering area for white-tailed elk. It is open to all and includes a reader board. The campground has toilets, picnic tables, and access to a swimming pool. Access to the road can be accessed all year.

Betty's Beach Free Campground is a small campground that allows tents. Although it has very few amenities, the views are spectacular. A more well-equipped camper park might be a better option if you have a bigger vehicle.

For those who love fishing, the Gorge Lake Campground makes a great spot to stay. It is conveniently located near Ross Lake or Diablo Lake. It also has a boat ramp, tent pads, fire rings, and a boat-launch. It's also located in North Cascades. It is a quiet, rustic and free campsite.

In the Pacific Northwest, there are many other free campsites. For details on these campsites, and others throughout the region, see the Western Australia Camping Guide. This guide provides maps, directions, and descriptions for 120 sites. It also provides information on rest stops, pet-friendly sites, and minimal fee campsites.
