
Shenandoah Acres Campground can be found in Stuarts Draft. It is a great location to camp. The Shenandoah National Park offers hiking and horseback riding.
The campground is family-friendly and growing. It is located on 134 secluded acres. You can choose to have your campsites with either full or partial electrical hookups. The campground is open seven-days a week. It's designed for families that want to have a relaxing vacation. There are a variety of amenities to choose from, such as mini-golf, a lake, basketball courts, arcade, and laundromat. There are also plans to add 112 more campsites.
Rupert Blacka, Helen Blacka, and Helen Blacka started Shenandoah Acres back in the 1930s. The campground was originally known as America's Finest Inland Beach. The Blacka family owned an eatery as well as a small spring-fed pool. The campground offered trail rides on horseback and a miniature-golf course. It was considered a health resort, with fresh spring water.

It was shut down during the 2000s. But it was reopened by Good Faith LLC in 2014. Good Faith LLC purchased it in 2005. Since 2005, Shenandoah Acres LLC has been working to reopen the campground. In 2010, the campground became the Mountain Spring Resort. Sun Communities, Inc. owns and operates it. Sun Communities, Inc. has 430 resorts throughout 32 states. The campground features a swimming pool, playground, and cafe. Pet-friendly sites are available, but special rules are in place.
The campground has been operated by a couple of different owners over the years. The Blacka family, the original owner, sold the property in Ontario to Lockland Management. After several years, the campground was sold to Sun Communities, Inc. In 2020, the campground was purchased by SA Hold Co., LLC, for $3million. However, it is not clear what improvements the new owners will make to the property.
Shenandoah Crossing has 41 campsites with full or partial hookups. The campground is suitable for big rigs and offers plenty of space for pull-thru RVs and slides. It is situated on a 60-acre lake that is surrounded lush pasture lands. The campground is located less that an hour from Shenandoah National Park. It has easy access via Skyline Drive to enjoy panoramic views over the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The campground has plenty of recreational activities, including kayaking and swimming in the rivers and lakes. There are four onsite playgrounds, and there are tennis and basketball courts. You can also get standard utility upgrades like cable TV, internet, and propane. It is a very family-friendly campground, and it is located on a beautiful mountaintop, which offers excellent views.

Over the past 80 year, Shenandoah Acres became a popular tourist destination. The park is surrounded by the mountains and offers a relaxing vacation in the Shenandoah Valley. You will find a number of trails for hiking or biking, as well as a section on the Appalachian Trail near the campground.
